On the picture above is grain tramcar no. 354 in the entry gate at Grefsen depot. The grain tramcars were used to transport grain from the grain silo at Vippetangen to Bjølsen Valsemølle's two mills at Grünerløkka and Sandaker.

The grain tramcars, no. 354 and 355, were built by Skabo in 1932 with electrical equipment from Siemens. They were bidirectional tramcars with two bogies, closed platforms and self-supported body in steel. The body had a hold for grain in loose weight. The tramcars were 9,0 m long, 2,2 m wide, weighted 14220 kg and could carry 20 tons of grain. The tramcars were equipped with loading hatches in the ceiling and unloading hatches in the bottom. The hatches under the tramcar were later rebuilt, so they could be pneumatically operated. They were Sporveien's first tramcars that got master controllers. They also had the possibility of multiple operation. The bogies were the only Maximum Traction ones in Norway. Because of the loading hatches, the overhead wire in the silo at Vippetangen had to be placed to one side. The tramcars got trolley poles that were used when they ran into the silo itself. The tramcars could carry up to about 1000 tons of grain in 24 hours.

Both of the grain tramcars were discarded on February 15th, 1967, and scrapped later the same year. LTF was supposed to take over a grain tramcar, but it was scrapped by a mistake.
