Picture of the Month, September 2000  The ten bathing trailers were bought by the "Green Tram" (Kristiania Sporveisselskab) in 1910 from Skabo. First they got the numbers 88-97, but were later renumbered 221-230. The bathing trailers were taken out of service in 1925 and were sold to Haag were they were taken out of service around 1950. Trailer no. 230 (ex. 97) was used as a drum car in Haag and was brought back to Norway by LTF. It's now at Vinterbro as a future restoration object. Photo: LTF Archive. |
