T6 class metrocar no. 1329 is the last metrocar which still has the old western metro design that earlier covered all the original 1300 class metrocars (classes T5-T6). Here it's photographed at Kolsås with old destination film and one-man operation.

The T6 class cars were delivered in 1980-81 and have the numbers 1319-1333. This class was the last of six main deliveries of metrocars in total. Since then the classes T7 and T8 have been added after T4 class cars have been rebuilt. Today, the 1300 class cars comprise the classes T5-T8. The cars are built by Strømmen and have electrical equipment from AEG/NEBB. The motors produce an effect of 4x 78,5 kW. The 1300 class cars are 17,0 metres long and weigh 29,7 tons. They have both current collector and third rail shoes, and are combi cars, because they may change from one of the power supplies to the other. Today, this is done at Montebello (Kolsåsbanen - the Kolsås line) and at Frøen (Holmenkollbanen - the Holmenkollen line).

So how do you distinguish between the T6 class cars and the other 1300 class cars? The T6 class cars are they only ones to have big drivers' cabins which cover the whole gable in both ends of each car.
